Payroll Accountant

Job Description
We are currently in search of a highly motivated Payroll Accountant with a strong background in Payroll Management. We are seeking a candidate who is enthusiastic about taking on challenging roles in accounting, ensuring the efficient tracking and timely payment of employees.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the payroll process with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and confidentiality.
  • Calculate employee wages, deductions, and tax obligations.
  • Maintain payroll records and address any payroll-related queries.
  • Continuously monitor and update employee payroll information.
  • Ensure all changes and updates are accurately reflected in the payroll system.
  • Guarantee on-time payment of employees in accordance with established schedules and legal requirements.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in written communication, particularly in drafting professional emails.
  • Exceptional proficiency in written and verbal English communication.
  • Experience working with payroll software to efficiently manage payroll processes.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
  • Familiarity with Australian accounting practices and regulations.
  • Myob experience would be added advantage.
